Join the large volunteer crew of the Toulon Provence Regatta 2026!

For its 3rd edition, the Club Nautique de la Marine in Toulon and Twelve Med Events will be organising the «Toulon Provence Regatta 2026» from 7 to 10 May 2026, an event labelled «400 years of the French Navy». This regatta will enable classic and metric class yachts (2.4 mR to 12 mJI) to sail coastal courses in the Toulon harbour and along the coast of the TPM metropolitan area. The public will be able to admire these fine yachts alongside the quayside, as well as yachts and boats of heritage interest, which will be assembled in the eastern part of the Old Dock in the Port of Toulon over the 4 days. The organisation of the event will begin on 6 May with the registration and welcome of the crews in Toulon, who will then discover the harbour on 7 May during training sessions. The official regatta will take place from 8 to 10 May in front of the Mourillon beaches. For this exceptional event, we are looking for volunteers to help organise the regatta on land and at sea. So we're looking for volunteers: From 5 to 11 May, the organisers need volunteers ashore for administrative and logistical tasks, registering and welcoming crews, coordinating the regatta ashore, managing visits, running school morning workshops, commentating on the regatta from the terraces of Fort St Louis, welcoming partners during the social events, volunteers for the day of free baptisms and nautical activities and the «Battleboats». At sea, we need sailboat and RIB owners to help secure the race area and meet press requirements, as well as crew members to accompany them. We have opened online registration. Anyone wishing to become a volunteer for the Toulon Provence Regatta 2026 is invited to register on this page. Timetable for the event : Thursday 7 May: registration, welcoming the crews to Toulon and training regattas. Friday 8 to Sunday 10 May: races along the TPM coastline. Sunday 10 May afternoon: prize-giving ceremony (in front of the Préfecture Maritime). From 7 to 10 May: opening of the TPR26 Village on the Quai des Pêcheurs in the Vieille Darse in the Port of Toulon, with entertainment and stalls. Saturday 9 May: Parade and nautical baptisms - regattas of model sailboats navigated by artificial intelligence (coves of the Mourillon beaches). We need all the help we can get to support these great sporting regattas and this great show for the public, in this year 2026 when the French Navy celebrates its 400th anniversary! We invite all those interested in volunteering to come along on Friday 6 February at 6.00pm in the auditorium of the Chalucet multimedia library in Toulon, or by videoconference via the «ToulonProvenceRegatta.fr» website for those unable to attend. Join the Toulon Provence Regatta adventure!

A look back at the winning trio in the 2.4mR sailing regattas!

Toulon Provence Regatta 2026

This year, the Toulon Provence Regatta welcomed 25 metric 2.4mR yachts to the regatta! Let's take a look back at the winning trio in this category: Megan Pascoe, Urs Infanger and Michael Jakobs. During these regattas, we were also able to discover champions from all generations, such as Ulli Libor.

Sunday 25 May: the final prize-giving ceremony!

Fourth and final day for the Toulon Provence Regatta! On Sunday 25 May, after the final races of the day, the final prize-giving ceremony for the Toulon Provence Regatta 2025 took place. The event is co-organised by the Club Nautique de la Marine à Toulon, represented by Admiral Philippe Coindreau, and Twelve Med Events, represented by Xavier Caux, in partnership with Toulon Town Hall, the Toulon Provence Méditerranée Metropolitan Area and the Southern Region. Several private companies supported our nautical event: Eiffage-Maribay, Maif, Veolia, Q-Park, Domaine du Pas du Cerf, Mistral FM and Cafés Maurice. More than a hundred volunteers contributed to the success of the event.

Saturday 24 May, in all shapes and sizes!

It was a day of water baptisms at the Coves des Pins, Tabarly and Lido, thanks to the various partner clubs and associations: TOULON'VAA, AVIRON TOULONNAIS, ANSM, CMV and SNPM. The public could discover canoes, kayaks, paddles, radio-controlled sailing boats and Polynesian pirogues. The MAIF stand and young people from the SNSM training centre gave rescue and first aid demonstrations.

The first 2025 regattas have begun!

Second day for the Toulon Provence Regatta!

Thanks to more clement weather, the 10 and 12 mJI yachts and the 2.4 mRs were able to set sail and begin competing in Toulon's Grande Rade.

A windy first day, but not an inactive one!

The first day was too windy, so the volunteers had to double their efforts!

This was the first school morning for pupils from classes in the metropolitan area. They took part in a number of workshops, including a tour of sailing ships, seamanship, flag-making, a workshop with the LPO and a visit to the Musée de la Marine.
