What is the Toulon Provence Regatta?
For its third edition, the Toulon Provence Regatta will be held from 7 to 10 May 2026, in the heart of Toulon's harbour.
A major sporting and maritime event, The regatta brings together exceptional classic and modern sailing yachts that bear witness to our national and international nautical heritage. Some of these legendary yachts have made history by taking part in the’America's Cup, In this way, the regatta has become part of the great tradition of international competitions.
La Toulon Provence Regatta brings together all the yachts in the international metric class: 2.4, 5.5, 6, 8, 10 and 12M JI, offering a splendid view of the Mediterranean.
On May 9th at 11 am, a highly anticipated highlight will complete the programme: the Destinus AI Regatta, an innovative regatta that will showcase sailing drones, combining sportsmanship, conviviality and modernity.
This year, Toulon will be even more vibrant as the city celebrates 400 years of the Navy.
For four days, Toulon will be alive with regattas, events and meetings:
- High-level sports competition, with the participation of passionate crews from France and abroad.
- A exhibitor village open to the public at the Port of Toulon, a place to meet, discover and exchange ideas.
- A strong regional roots, The city's maritime vocation is highlighted and contributes to its attractiveness as a tourist and business destination.
- From unique moments at the Fort Saint-Louis and the Musée de la Marine, Toulon's emblematic sites, which will host some of the partner events and activities, providing a prestigious and historic backdrop to the event.
- From events accessible to all Sailboat tours, nautical baptisms, exhibitions and educational trails around the sea.

Over four days of competition, The Toulon Provence Regatta will be bringing the whole of the Toulon area to life at a number of iconic venues along the Mediterranean coastline. This international sailing event offers a unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the action, on one of Europe's most beautiful stretches of water.
The Toulon Provence Regatta will take place in a number of key areas, each offering a different atmosphere and experience:
- The Port of Toulon
As the focal point of the event, it welcomes the classic yachts and their crews, while offering the public a unique opportunity to see the boats and their crews in action. a privileged view of the start and finish of the regattas. Its location in the heart of the city makes it easy to wide accessibility and optimum visibility for partners.
- The Carré du Port and the Quai des Pêcheurs
These historic quays are the direct link with visitors. They offer a convivial space where you can meet the crews, admire the classic yachts alongside and enjoy the entertainment organised during the event.
- L'Anse des Pins at Mourillon
An emblematic maritime site in Toulon, ideal for following the regattas from the coast. Spectators enjoy an exceptional view of the harbour, creating a friendly atmosphere for all the family. Numerous introductory sailing sessions will also be held here.
- Fort Saint Louis
An emblematic historic monument on the Mourillon, the building is being made private for the event, to provide space for partners and hospitality. This special venue allows guests to experience the regatta up close and personal with the crews, in a remarkable setting steeped in maritime history.

Yes, it's already been a month since the Toulon Provence Regatta 2026 concluded its 4-day celebration with crews, entertainment for the public on the port of Toulon and the beaches of Mourillon, and regattas in the Great Roadstead! The National Navy was honoured this year for its 400 years of existence. This edition has showcased both the boats and yachts of our maritime heritage, as well as much more recent metric yachts! A successful end to this third edition of the Toulon Provence Regatta!
This Sunday, May 10th, saw the final awards ceremony for the Toulon Provence Regatta 2026, co-organised by the Toulon Naval Club and Twelve Med Events, in partnership with the Town Hall of Toulon, the Toulon Provence Méditerranée Metropolis, the Var Department, the Sud Region, and the French Navy. We had the pleasure of welcoming the patron of the 2026 edition, Philippe HARTZ, and Armel Le Cléac’h, skipper of the ULTIM trimaran «Banque Populaire XI» who sailed in Toulon's main harbour with 2 other ULTIMs during these 4 days...

The «Destinus AI Regatta», a world first in Toulon!
If you had visited the former LA PLAGE restaurant at Anse du Lido this morning, you would have felt like you were in a real ant’s nest. There was a buzz of excitement in everyone's minds. For the organisers, particularly Xavier CAUX, it was the culmination of a project launched just over 2 years ago in partnership with the Swarm’z challenge and the company Destinus (an aerial drone manufacturer) which supported the organisation of this event. For all the competing student teams, it was a real challenge to be taken on over the past few days, much like a hackathon. For some, this last night was very, very, very short. Success and failure mark this adventure, which is only a first step towards the objective of developing a «virtual tactician» for the America's Cup…
