A windy first day, but not an inactive one!

First morning with schoolchildren from the metropolitan area

Day one for the Toulon Provence Regatta!

The first day was too windy, so the volunteers had to double their efforts!

This was the first school morning for pupils from classes in the metropolitan area. They took part in a number of workshops, including a tour of sailing ships, seamanship, flag-making, a workshop with the LPO and a visit to the Musée de la Marine.

Given the weather conditions, no training regatta was held.

A small launch party between the Carré du Port and the Place de l'Equerre gave free rein to the students of the Cours Tabarly to sing sea shanties and the Bagad du PEM de Saint Mandrier to perform an aubade. Erwan Jauffroy, our sponsor for this year's regattas, was also present. We applauded him as he was crowned 'Sailor of the Year' and winner of the 'Overall' prize at the Foiling Award 2025. Congratulations to him!

In the evening, Cuverville seemed to indicate to the various crews that the time had come to set sail and compete in the first races of this second edition of the Toulon Provence Regatta!

Don't forget to book your tickets - we look forward to seeing many of you at the Toulon Provence Regatta 2025!
