On Friday 6 February, we presented this year's event to the first volunteers of the Toulon Provence Regatta 2026 at the Auditorium of the Chalucet media library in Toulon. This 3rd edition has been awarded the «400 years of the French Navy» label. This prestigious label underlines our commitment to promoting maritime heritage and naval excellence in the heart of Europe's most beautiful harbour.
From 5 to 11 May, the organisers need more than 150 volunteers:
- on land, These include administrative and logistical tasks, registering and welcoming crews, onshore coordination of the regatta, managing visits, running school morning workshops, commentating on the regatta from the terraces of Fort St Louis, welcoming partners during social events, and volunteering for the day's free baptisms and nautical activities and the «Battleboats»,
- at sea, We need owners of sailboats, rigid hulls and RIBs to secure the race area and meet press requirements, as well as crew to accompany them.
We have opened online registration. People wishing to volunteer for the Toulon Provence Regatta 2026, are invited to Register on this page.
This first meeting was an opportunity for the volunteers present to find out the results of the competition for the official poster of the Toulon Provence Regatta 2026, organised with the students in the «Design» class at the Lycée de la Tourrache. The 3 finalists are listed below!
The 2026 vintage is another very good one, with some very fine creations by Emilie TARIN, Enzo GHIGO and Alice LESUEUR!
We'd like to thank their teacher, Aurélien PRUD'HOMME, who is as dynamic as ever in bringing this project to fruition with his various classes every year!
The next volunteer meeting will be held at the end of March to fine-tune instructions and the organisation of the event. You will be informed directly once you have registered as a volunteer.
So don't hesitate, join the human and maritime adventure of the Toulon Provence Regatta!
