To combine tradition and evolution, Twelve Med Events is continuing to innovate with this year's «Battleboats».» This is an innovative regatta of automated sailing boats or sailing drones under the patronage of the French Defence Procurement Agency (DGA). On 9 May 2026, around Toulon's Fort Saint Louis, a special course will feature competition between autonomous craft controlled by Artificial Intelligence or by autopilot. Finally, it's time to launch our call for volunteers to support the Toulon Provence Regatta, because without them no major event of this kind is possible. We need your help to make the Toulon Provence Regatta an unforgettable event.
More than 150 volunteers will be working to organise the event over the four days, securing the water, welcoming the crews, supervising the various visits and exhibitions, as well as the day of free introductory sailing sessions and the «Battleboats».
We invite all those interested in becoming a volunteer to join us on Friday 6 February at 6.00pm in the auditorium of the Chalucet multimedia library in Toulon. or by videoconference via the « ToulonProvenceRegatta.fr »For those who are unable to attend.
We need all the goodwill we can muster to support these fine sporting regattas and this great spectacle for the public, in this year 2026 when the French Navy celebrates its 400th anniversary!
