Erwan Jauffroy sets a new world record!

Our sponsor of the Toulon Provence Regatta 2025 is in the news again

Our sponsor of the Toulon Provence Regatta 2025, Erwan Jauffroy, has just set a new world record, from the top of his foil, without engine or sail, and without a break!
It covered 156.5 km between Martigues and La Croix-Valmer in 6 hours and 35 minutes at an average speed of 12.9 knots (24 km/h).

" I was forced to make a sustained effort from the start, which I paid for later on. The cramps started in the last third but I kept going without stopping or losing concentration. That's the hardest thing about a foil without propulsion, where the slightest mistake can end the flight. "explained Erwan.

Erwan Jauffroy recently won two prizes at the Foiling Awards, including Sailor of the Year 2025.
The former editor-in-chief of Wind Magazine already made a name for himself last year, with an unprecedented foil crossing between the continent and Corsica (Toulon-Calvi, 246km).

Well done Erwan! We wish you every success in the future as you ride the waves of the Mediterranean!
