The fourth and final day of the Toulon Provence Regatta!
On Sunday 25 May, after the final races of the day, the final prize-giving ceremony for the Toulon Provence Regatta 2025 took place. The event was co-organised by the Club Nautique de la Marine à Toulon, represented by Admiral Philippe Coindreau, and Twelve Med Events, represented by Xavier Caux, in partnership with Toulon City Council, the Toulon Provence Méditerranée metropolitan area and the Southern Region.
Several private companies supported our nautical event: Eiffage-Maribay, Maif, Veolia, Q-Park, Domaine du Pas du Cerf, Mistral FM and Cafés Maurice. More than a hundred volunteers contributed to its success.
A number of collaborations with schools in Toulon have helped to renew the event's image: a poster produced by a competition within the Design section of the Lycée de la Grande Tourrache and a new website designed by work-study students from the MMI department of the IUT in Toulon.
The 3 days of racing saw 9 races for the 12 mJI yachts and 8 races for the 2.4 mR yachts. The Toulon Provence Regatta was the first leg of the 56th French Yacht Club Mediterranean Cup and a round of the European 2.4mR circuit.
12mJI rankings: 1. Kiwi Magic, 2. French Kiss, 3. South Australia
Classic ranking: 1. Irène VIII, 2. Heimat
2.4 mR ranking: 1. Little Miss Esme, 2. After Eight, 3. No Name
During the 4 days of the "LA MER EN COMMUN" event (2025: Year of the Sea), the public discovered a beautiful exhibition in the town hall featuring photographers from different classes of metric sailboats, as well as an educational exhibition along the port of Toulon on different players linked to the world of the sea, the "Parcours de la Mer". More than 200 pupils from schools in the Metropolitan area took part in the 2 school mornings on offer. 1,500 visits by the general public to the various boats on display in the Carré du Port de Toulon and more than 500 water baptisms on the Mourillon beaches were organised in partnership with various local associations and sailing clubs. In addition to the parade of maritime heritage boats along the dykes, for the first time a regatta of radio-controlled sailing boats could be seen in the Lido cove. From the largest to the smallest, the Toulon Provence Regatta showcased racing yachts as well as some remarkable and beautiful vessels, such as the Cannes schooner 'O'Remington'.
Sunday's ceremony also saw the launch of the Artificial Intelligence regatta project and the Battleboats of 9 May 2026 under the patronage of DGA (Direction Générale de l'Armement) in the form of a company/student partnership.
"Twelve Med Event wants to get the Var business community even more involved in the 3rd edition of this nautical event.
We'd like to thank all our partners from local authorities, businesses and associations who have contributed to the success of the Toulon Provence Regatta 2025!
We look forward to seeing you next year, from 7 to 10 May 2026, with even more boats and even more events!
Godspeed until then!
