The 2024 edition draws to a close! | Twelve Med Events

Yesterday, the Toulon Provence Regatta 2024 came to an end in style under the French colours! The yachts set off at the end of the morning in a calm breeze, but when they reached the regatta area, the forecast for a westerly entry was confirmed. The crews were able to take on each other one last time in Toulon's Grande Rade before returning to port and berthing for the last time this season at the Carré du Port de Toulon. This year's event sees teams (colleges, companies, works councils, private individuals, etc.) compete against each other in races involving one-metre-long model sailboats. Once you cross the start line, you don't touch the remote controls and the Artificial Intelligence takes over until the finish. Find out how to take part in this rather innovative regatta in the attached document. VIM, KIWI MAGIC and FRENCH KISS took top honours in the 'Modern', 'Traditions' and 'All Group General' classifications. You can find all the rankings for this 2024 edition at the following link: https://www.toulonprovenceregatta.fr/page/2772032-les-resultats-des-regates If you want to relive all the regattas, go to the Replay section: https://www.toulonprovenceregatta.fr/page/2708975-le-replay-des-regates And now it's time for the famous final photo, all in BLUE WHITE RED in front of FRANCE, our historic sailing boat, with the Coupe de France, the local civil and military authorities, the organisers, the volunteers and, of course, the crews who took part in this competition. Toulon has risen to the level of other towns that usually host stages of the Yacht Club de France's Coupe de France. The organisers' gamble paid off! See you next year!

Training regattas off to a flying start! | Twelve Med Events

After a first day berthed at the quayside due to the strength of the wind, the crews were able to take to the sea today! After breakfast and a briefing for the skippers and crews, the yachts were ready to set sail in glorious sunshine. The aim of the competition is to get teams (colleges, companies, works councils, private individuals, etc.) to compete in races involving one-metre-long model sailboats. Once the starting line has been crossed, the remote controls are no longer touched and the Artificial Intelligence takes over until the finish. An evening of rest for the crews to prepare for the first day of the official regatta, tomorrow!
