The 2024 edition draws to a close! | Twelve Med Events

A look back at 2024...

Yesterday, the Toulon Provence Regatta 2024 came to a close in French style!

The yachts set off at the end of the morning with a calm breeze, but when they reached the race zone, the forecast for a westerly entry was confirmed. The crews were able to take on each other one last time in Toulon's Grande Rade before returning to port and berthing for the last time this season in the Carré du Port de Toulon.

Teams (higher education institutions, companies, works councils, private individuals, etc.) compete in races involving one-metre-long model sailing boats. Once the starting line has been crossed, the remote controls are no longer touched and the Artificial Intelligence takes over until the finish.

Find out how to take part in this innovative regatta in the attached document.

VIM, KIWI MAGIC and FRENCH KISS stood out in the "Modern", "Traditions" and "All-Group General" rankings. You can find all the rankings for this 2024 edition at the following link: https://www.toulonprovenceregatta.fr/page/2772032-les-resultats-des-regates

If you want to relive all the regattas, go to Replay : https://www.toulonprovenceregatta.fr/page/2708975-le-replay-des-regates

And now it's time for the famous final photo, all in BLUE WHITE RED in front of FRANCE, our historic sailing boat, with the Coupe de France, the local civil and military authorities, the organisers, the volunteers and, of course, the crews who took part in this competition.

Toulon has risen to the level of other towns that usually host stages of the French Yacht Club Cup. A winning bet for the organisers!

See you next year!
