The trophies for the Toulon Provence Regatta 2024 are ready for the prize-giving ceremony next week. They were chosen by Lucille Caille and Anaïs Coudrier, both students at the École Camondo. The prestigious Parisian school of interior architecture and design has opened a second site in Toulon in September 2019.
For the trophies, the students chose a material made from recycled PE 100% (high-density polyethylene) plastic waste.
These trophies will be awarded to the crews of 12mJI yachts with the best results in the various regattas taking place from 9 to 12 May in Toulon's Grand Harbour, at the Vignettes nautical stadium.
The Toulon Provence Regatta 2024 gets underway next week, with the boats arriving in Toulon harbour on Monday. It begins with 2 days of regatta training, followed by 4 days of official regattas off the Mourillon beaches.

In the meantime, it's the turn of the sailing yacht THEA (D1) to take her place under the returning sun in the port of Toulon. At 106 years old, she is the oldest yacht in the competition.
